including its downloadable contents, is free of charge for researchers working
for academic, governmental, or other non-profit institutions under a license
agreement. For researchers working for for-profit companies, the University of
Michigan requires a commercial license agreement and a moderate amount of
subscription fee before they can legally access the PDBbind database.
Upon your choice, you will be
directed to the corresponding license agreement. Academic/governmental users
may complete their registrations right on our web site by following the
instructions. Requests from commercial users will be processed by our
representative at the Technology Transfer Office of the University of

limited access to the contents of the PDBbind database though.
